The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index weight loss program is linked to the gi index, a list showing foods and a score representing the speed that the energy in the food gets changed to sugar in your body. The believe is that slow acting types of food (ie with a low Gi number), will keep you feeling full for longer and help to take in less food without starving yourself.
It is also extremely beneficial for folk with diabetes, as the low GI foods are useful in preventing increases in glucose amount.

1/4 lb Butter, unsalted

2 ea Ginger, thin slices,

1 sm Garlic, clove, chopped

1 sm Chili, green, seeded and

1 pn Turmeric, ground
