The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi (or glycaemic index) weight loss program is reliant on the glycaemic index, a list of foods and a score representing the speed with which the carbs of the food gets changed to sugar in your system. The believe is that slow release foods (ie those with a low Glycaemic index score), will keep you feeling full for longer and mean that you can injest less food without craving snacks all the time.
It's also very good for individuals with diabetes, as the low GI types of food are helpful in minimizing surges in blood glucose levels.
