Diet info

The low-cal diet

In a nutshell, the low-cal diet is based on the fact that in order to lose weight, the most important step is to injest less calories than you use.

Definition of a calorie?
A calorie is a measurement of the energy provided by food. A calorie is the the energy required to increase the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1 degree centigrade at normal atmospheric pressure. If something contains more calories, then it will provide your body with more energy to use when eaten.

Low-cal foods include boiled potatoes, swede, water melon, beef based meals, and white eggs.
